What Quizoo is

Quizoo runs live quizzes. A host opens a room on a screen everyone can see, and guests join from their own devices without an account. Using the site means accepting these terms.

Playing and hosting

• A display name is yours to choose, and yours to answer for. Keep it civil: a host can end a round at any time.
• A host is responsible for the quizzes they run and for anything they upload with a question, including having the right to use it.
• Do not use Quizoo to break the law, to harass anyone, or to disrupt the service for other rooms.

Host accounts

Hosting takes an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself — whatever happens under an account is treated as the work of the person holding it. An account may be suspended if it is used to break these terms.

What is not promised

Quizoo is a small service offered as it is, with no promise that it stays available or that anything is kept. A live round is held in the server's memory, so a restart or a deploy ends a round in progress, and past rounds may be removed at any time. To the extent the law allows, Quizoo is not liable for a quiz night that does not go to plan.

Changes

These terms can change as the service does. The date at the top says when they last did.
